Fixed-price installation

The prices above are fixed and quoted before the work starts — no hourly rate, no charge by the minute. If your job is not listed, call us and we will quote it.

Our installers include plumbers, electricians and gas fitters. That matters more than it sounds: a gas appliance has to be connected by someone licensed to do it, and a hardwired oven is not a plug-in job. Appliance retailers will often deliver but not connect, which is where most people get stuck.

What we install

Wall ovens, freestanding stoves, gas and electric cooktops, ceramic and induction cooktops, rangehoods and dishwashers — domestic rather than commercial.

Replacing an existing appliance

Most installation-day surprises come from the same three things, and all of them can be sorted out beforehand:

The cut-out is the wrong size. Benchtop and cabinet cut-outs are rarely standard across brands or across the years. A new cooktop that is 10mm wider than the old one means benchtop work, not just a swap.

The connection is not where the new appliance expects it. Gas points, power points and hardwired connections move around between models. An induction cooktop in particular usually needs a dedicated circuit that a gas or ceramic cooktop did not.

The old appliance has to go somewhere. Tell us when you book if you want it taken away.

When you book, give us the make and model of both the new appliance and the one coming out. It costs you nothing and it is the single best way to avoid a second visit.

Gas work

Gas connections are done by a licensed gas fitter and tested before we leave. If an existing installation is unsafe we will tell you, and we will not sign off on something that is not right — that is not us being difficult, it is the part of the job that is not negotiable.

Booking an installation

Book online and pick your own time. Enter the property postcode — see areas we service — and the calendar shows the next available appointments, in one of two arrival windows, 7:30am to 11:30am or 11:30am to 3:30pm. You get a confirmation email with a link to reschedule or cancel up to four hours beforehand.

If the appliance is being delivered separately, book the installation for a day after the delivery rather than the same day. Deliveries slip, and the next available appointment may not be the following day.
