What we repair and install
FMB Stove Repairs works on the cooking appliances in the kitchen and the laundry: freestanding stoves, wall ovens, gas and electric cooktops, ceramic and induction cooktops, rangehoods, dishwashers and dryers. Gas or electric, built-in or freestanding, domestic rather than commercial.
We are a family-run business working across Western Sydney, and we have been doing it since 2020.
The two things we do
Repairs
Call-out $90 + GST and a flat $90 + GST labour charge. Not an hourly rate, and not charged by the minute — the price is the price whether the job takes twenty minutes or most of the morning. Parts are extra, charged at the manufacturer’s recommended price, and we tell you the cost before we fit anything.
Common jobs: oven not heating or heating unevenly, a fan-forced element that has failed, a grill that will not come on, a thermostat that has gone out of calibration, hotplates dead on one side, a gas burner that will not light or keeps going out, a rangehood that has stopped extracting, a dishwasher that will not drain.
Installation
Listed starting prices for a like-for-like swap, with the total confirmed before the work starts. Our installers include plumbers, electricians and gas fitters, which matters: a gas appliance has to be connected by someone licensed to do it, and a hardwired oven is not a plug-in job.
If you have bought a new appliance and are replacing an old one, tell us the make and model of both when you book — most of the awkward surprises on installation day come from a cut-out that is the wrong size or a connection point that is not where the new appliance expects it.
Brands
We work on all the common Australian domestic brands. Most of what we see is Westinghouse, Electrolux, Bosch, Chef, Simpson, Smeg, Omega, Delonghi, Blanco, Ariston, Fisher & Paykel, Miele, Technika, Euromaid and Esatto, but if yours is not on that list it is still worth asking.
How a booking works

You get a confirmation email with a link to move or cancel the booking yourself, up to one day before.
