Fixed price, quoted before the work starts. Our installers include plumbers, electricians and gas fitters — which matters, because a gas appliance has to be connected by someone licensed and a hardwired oven is not a plug-in job.

People live with a half-working oven for months because they assume it means a new appliance. Usually it does not.
Usually a failed element or a thermostat that has drifted. An oven running 40 degrees cold still turns on, so people live with it.
The fan-forced element has gone. The oven still works on conventional settings, which is why it gets missed.
Normally the grill element itself or the selector switch behind the control panel.
On a coil cooktop, the element or its switch. On ceramic, the radiant element under the glass — different part, different price.
A blocked port, a worn electrode, or a flame failure device no longer holding the valve open. That last one is a safety device doing its job.
Motor, switch, or — more often than anyone expects — filters that have never been cleaned.
How it works
The part most people expect to be painful is the part we fixed first.
Book a repairPostcode, the address, and what the appliance is doing. Brand and model help — on most ovens it is on a plate inside the door frame, and a photo of it is fine.
The calendar shows the appointments genuinely available for your address, in one of the two arrival windows. Take whichever suits you.
A confirmation email arrives with a link that lets you move or cancel the job yourself, up to four hours before. No phone call either way.
Worth knowing
When the manufacturer no longer supplies the glass for an older oven, people are usually told to replace the whole appliance. We manufacture the replacement instead — which is how a perfectly good oven stays in the kitchen.

You should not have to ring somebody to find out what an oven element costs. These are starting prices — each figure covers the call-out, the labour and the part. Anything not listed falls back to the capped $140 + GST for the visit, with the part quoted before we fit it.
