Can highly recommend- My main concern was which hotplate would fit my cut out. Leo came out to have a look and guided me in best option including value for money within my budget. Installers came out and they were great as well. I appreciated them cleaning the mess left from my original oven before installing new one which indicates to me a high level of professionalism. Easily recommend without hesitation. Thank you for the great service and advice.

I had my Westinghouse glass ceramic cooktop installed today by Leo. Leo was very helpful throughout the entire process. Installation was all completed within the hour and for a very good price. I would highly recommend Leo and FMB with any of your cooktop and oven needs.

The common jobs have a price on them
You should not have to ring somebody to find out what an oven element costs. These are starting prices — each figure covers the call-out, the labour and the part. Anything not listed is $90 + GST call-out and $90 + GST labour, with the part quoted before we fit it.

What we do
Two things, done properly
Gas, electric, ceramic and induction. Ovens, stoves, cooktops, rangehoods, dishwashers and dryers — domestic, not commercial.
Repairs
Oven not heating evenly, a fan-forced element gone, hotplates dead on one side, a burner that lights and drops out, a rangehood that has stopped pulling. $90 + GST call-out and $90 + GST labour; parts quoted before they go in.

Installation
Starting prices for a like-for-like swap, with the total confirmed before the work starts. Our installers include plumbers, electricians and gas fitters — which matters, because a gas appliance has to be connected by someone licensed and a hardwired oven is not a plug-in job.

Most of it is one part
People live with a half-working oven for months because they assume it means a new appliance. Usually it does not.
Not heating evenly
Usually a failed element or a thermostat that has drifted. An oven running 40 degrees cold still turns on, so people live with it.
Browning on top, raw below
The fan-forced element has gone. The oven still works on conventional settings, which is why it gets missed.
Grill will not come on
Normally the grill element itself or the selector switch behind the control panel.
Hotplates dead on one side
On a coil cooktop, the element or its switch. On ceramic, the radiant element under the glass — different part, different price.
Burner lights then drops out
A blocked port, a worn electrode, or a flame failure device no longer holding the valve open. That last one is a safety device doing its job.
Rangehood stopped pulling
Motor, switch, or — more often than anyone expects — filters that have never been cleaned.

A confirmation email arrives with a link that lets you move or cancel the job yourself, up to one day before. No phone call either way.
Worth knowing
Shattered oven door glass? We make a new one.
When the manufacturer no longer supplies the glass for an older oven, people are usually told to replace the whole appliance. We manufacture the replacement instead — which is how a perfectly good oven stays in the kitchen.

Your tenants book the repair themselves online, with your agency name and work order number. Because the tenant books, our technician calls them on the day — not you.
How it works for agencies$300 repair limit
Repairs within $300 go ahead and are invoiced. Above that, we quote both repair and replacement first.
